BIRMINGHAM MAIL | Snobs on Broad Street

Tibbatts Abel mentioned in the Birmingham Mail as the designers for Snobs on Broad Street:

“The countdown is on for the opening of the new Snobs nightclub in Brum. The nightclub closed on Smallbrook Queensway on Saturday, March 2 ready to move over to its new location on Broad Street.”

“Mike Olley, general manager of Westside BID, said: “The new Snobs is a huge and wonderful addition to the nightlife scene on Birmingham’s ‘golden mile’ of Broad Street.”

“Adam Tibbatts of architects Tibbatts Abel, who designed the new Snobs, said: “Snobs is a wonderful, nostalgic, fun, vibrant venue that’s close to a lot of people’s hearts in Birmingham. We as designers need to create the look and feel of the venue to give the operators the tools to give customers the best experience possible. It’s been a memorable journey creating the new Snobs and moving the design forward with new ideas and latest audio visual technologies.”

“Owner Wayne Tracey said: “We are thrilled to have such a great position on Broad Street to continue the great name, brand, reputation and nightlife that everyone in Birmingham knows as Snobs. All 45 staff are coming with us from the club’s old venue, and we will be creating around 15 new jobs because of longer opening hours due to more passing trade in the daytime.”
