The project
The interior has been expressively smartened up to a stylish yet Victorian look, creating a sense of calm modernity, whilst retaining the classic bar and pub environment. The colour palette uses the traditional pub shades, with additional accents of maroon, mustard and blues. Towards the back area, a slight bohemian influence is shown through expressive splashes of colour, and hints of new pop art featuring alongside the traditional ceiling murals. This has given the back area an edgy and more contemporary feel. Certain features have been retained to keep the rich warm feel throughout, creating an eclectic and homely environment. The lighting creates a soft ambience, and enhances certain characteristics. With a range of seating styles, there’s an option for any occasion. Timber industrial dining chairs, leather deep button fixed seating and comfy high back arm chairs.
